Prohibited Content & Acceptable Use

At Speak4AI we are committed to providing a secure, respectful, and lawful environment for everyone learning a language with our AI tutors. Certain categories of content and conduct are strictly forbidden on Speak4AI and any of our platforms, products, or services ("Services"). The Services generally consist of private text chats and video calls with AI language tutors. Although users cannot upload or share content publicly, the content and conduct outlined in this Prohibited Content & Acceptable Use Policy is nevertheless prohibited and subject to our moderation controls and reporting policies.

1. Prohibited Content and Conduct

The following content and conduct, including but not limited to text and any other AI-generated content created through our platform, is prohibited:

A) Illegal Content: Content that contravenes local, national, or international laws and regulations is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, content associated with illegal drugs, weapons, violence, or activities that advocate or endorse illegal actions.

B) Sexual Content Involving Minors: We have a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors. Any attempt to use the Service to produce, reference, or solicit such content is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the relevant authorities.

C) Harassment: Abusing, harassing, threatening, or intimidating the AI tutors or any other person is not permitted.

D) Hate Speech and Discrimination: We do not tolerate content that promotes hate speech, discrimination, or harassment based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

E) Violence and Harm: Content that encourages, glorifies, or promotes violence, self-harm, or harm to others is strictly prohibited. This includes content that endorses suicide, terrorism, or any form of harm.

F) Infringement on Privacy and Intellectual Property: Any content that infringes upon the privacy, copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights of individuals or entities is not permitted. This includes sharing personal information without consent, pirated content, or any unauthorized use of copyrighted material.

G) Misuse or Exploitation of the AI Tutors: Attempting to manipulate, "jailbreak," or otherwise coax the AI tutors into producing harmful, illegal, or otherwise prohibited output, or attempting to bypass the Service's safety and moderation systems, is prohibited.

H) Impersonation: Deceptive or harmful impersonation of real individuals, public figures, or other users is prohibited. This encompasses any misleading attempts to impersonate or misrepresent others.

I) Spam and Automation: Spamming, scraping, or using unauthorized bots, scripts, or other automated means to access or interact with the Service is prohibited.

2. Content responsibility

You, as a user of the Services, are solely responsible for the output generated by the AI tutors through your input. The AI tutors respond based on the conversations you lead and the settings you select. You understand and agree that Speak4AI does not control or endorse the content generated by the AI tutors, and that you are fully responsible for any output generated by the AI and for your own actions while using the Services.

You must ensure that your interactions with the AI tutors comply with applicable laws, regulations, and our other Policies, in particular the Community Guidelines and Minors Policy, and you shall not engage in any illegal, unethical, or harmful activities while using the Services.

You, as a user of the Services, are fully responsible for all your entries. Please ensure compliance with the laws of your country as well as the laws of the Slovak Republic.

3. Content Moderation

While conversations between users and AI tutors are generally confidential, we have implemented content moderation controls based on our proprietary LLM technology to ensure compliance with our Policies. If our moderation controls detect any content that violates our terms or the law, we may manually review the flagged content and/or other content associated with the account and take appropriate action. This may include removing content, terminating the user's account, or reporting the content to appropriate authorities. See also Section 4 below. This measure is implemented to maintain a respectful and secure environment for all users. We strive to strike a balance between privacy and community standards, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to our guidelines.

4. Prohibited Content Reporting

We have a zero-tolerance policy for Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). Attempting to create CSAM is prohibited by law and our Policies. In addition to our other content moderation and removal controls, we report known CSAM to the relevant law enforcement authorities, including the Slovak Police, Europol, and/or the U.S. National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), as appropriate based on the jurisdiction involved.
